Dropped my calorie intake severely (not to unhealthy levels, just way down - 14-1500 a day) by changing my diet to mostly veggies and meats, with no snacks, and only drinking water.

On top of this, thanks to the fact I have a tennis court outside my building, I’m always working on hockey stuff. A typical day when I’m not busy consists of 30 minutes of doing breakaways and stickhandling drills, then usually 6-7 minutes of running laps just to wind down. Almost every Thursday I go downtown and play ball hockey for a few hours as well.

Then just the little things, like taking stairs when possible (except in my building - I’m 15-20 floors up so I only take them when I’m really up to it), making sure I don’t cheat, stuff like that.

My goal is to keep this up until I hit 200, then start hitting the gym and making myself better built. We’ll see how that goes.

Seeing as I’m taking the absolutely worst approach possible to making my way in the industry, I’d have no idea how the ones who did it properly did it. Probably written journalism in university, followed by internships and finally actual jobs

I’m a fan of Gustavsson, but Reimer is the better goalie. But right now, being the best goalie on the Leafs is like being the thinnest kid at fat camp.

Do you think Burke should stick to the plan of playing the young goalies or trade for one soon?
